Next week, we’ll be in California, adding video interviews to our 100 Stories.  California has the third highest rate of unemployment among the states (behind Nevada and Michigan, which we have already visited), and its unemployment rate rose slightly in December to 12.5 percent from 12.4 percent in November.

We have been overwhelmed with requests to participate in our project, and we will be conducting at least 20 interviews over the five days, covering as much of the Golden State as possible.

We regret that we can’t squeeze everyone into our schedule who would like to be part of Over 50 and Out of Work.
